🦅🏉💚❤️ FINAL SCORE UPDATE!
Strathmore Women 24 – 33 Highland RFC Women
Our womens team won their first game in this season’s National Shield down at Inchmacoble Park, Forfar.
The Highland team ran in 5 tries through Amy Brown, Alaina MacLennan, Elle Briggs, Holly Duncan, and Lorna Young.
Caitlin Hollands landed 3 conversions, and Lauren Parkes also added a conversion.
I’m told that today’s Highland Player of the Match was Morgan Redpath.
Massive congratulations to the team, and off course Morgan.
It’s always good to get a win on the road! So I’m sure they will enjoy the bus home!
A massive thank you to Strathmore RFC Women for a great game and your fantastic hospitality. Good luck for the rest of your run in the Shield.
We’ll look forward to our Women’s team getting on the pitch at Canal Park for the first time in ages against Greenock Wanderers on ⏰Sunday 16th February, 2pm KO.
