We're off to a good start!
We’ve collected £1070 since we first asked for your help with this years MFR Cash for Kids appeal. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated already.
We all know times are tough, and everyone is affected. But if we could spare a thought for those worse off than ourselves by making a small donation then together we could make things a little bit more comfortable for local children.
Let’s make sure every local child wakes up with a smile this Christmas morning!
Following the successful 2022 appeal MFR have asked the rugby club to support Mission Christmas (Cash for Kids) 2023.
The focus this year is keeping less well off kids warm and safe and we have been requested to use the money donated to provide essential items like scarves, gloves and hats.
Last year we also provided toys, books, sports goods and 50 rugby balls. The feedback last year from Social Workers via MFR was very positive, they particularly liked the rugby balls and rugby kit.
Please dig deep and give what you can afford.
