Highland RFC 1XV

Once again it’s another important week for the Mens 1XV. They’ll be smarting from last week’s loss down at Stirling. As a result of that loss, and with Broughmuir and Peebles both winning, our survival in National League Division 1 is no longer in our own hands. We now need results elsewhere to go our way.

For this scenario to have any chance of going our way the 1XV need 5 points from the trip to Dundee.

Highland RFC 2XV

The 2XV suffered what might have been considered a surprise loss against North Police Scotland in Aberdeen last week, but they are still in the race for a place in the Caledonia League Division 1 Play Offs. To do that they also need to win this weekend against fellow challengers Mackie RFC. 

Highland RFC 3XV

The 3XV get their first outing in a month, in what is their last game in the Highlands & Islands Conference. The 3XV take on Stornoway, who currently lie at the top of the devision despite having play two fewer games that the chasing pack. Despite this the 3XV should safely qualify for the playoffs for the Caledonia League Division 2 title.

Highland RFC Eagles U18 Boys 

The Eagles are back on the road in the Saltire Energy Caledonia Youth Cup, this time to Deeside. They beat the Banchory side by 59-19 at Canal Park last Saturday. They’ll be looking for a repeat performance.

Highland RFC Falcons U18 Boys

The Falcons are in action in the Saltire Energy Caledonia Youth Bowl. This time in a game against Gordonstoun School which was rescheduled from 11th January due to a frozen pitch.
