After their false start on Saturday 26th August when their home game was cancelled as Ellon couldn’t raise a team. 

The Raptors will get the Club’s Senior Men’s league campaigns underway as they are the first Men’s team to return to 2023/24 League action at Canal Park. After several seasons where the Raptors could not progress beyond Caley Div 2, they will finally get their shot at Division 1.

As the lads gain experience in Caley Div 1, the step up will also benefit the 1XV as the jump from the level the 2’s play at to where the 1st xv is narrowed. Yes it’s a small reduction – but every little helps. 

This weekend the Raptors welcome Aberdeenshire RFC to Canal Park to open their 2023/24 Caledonia North Region League Division 1  season. Kick off is at 3pm.  We hope to see you down at the club. 

 The Raptors League fixtures are listed below, including updates for the Ellon fixtures. With a fair wind, their league campaign could bear completed before Christmas.
